These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Al Shahi Furniture Upholstery website and any upholstery, curtain, or related services booked with us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a quote, placing an order, or otherwise engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Quotes & Estimates
Quotes provided over the phone, WhatsApp, or via our contact form are estimates based on the information and photos provided. A final price is confirmed after physical inspection of the furniture at our workshop or during a home visit, and may vary based on the actual condition of the frame, foam, or springs.
3. Orders & Fabric
Once you approve a quote and select a fabric or leather, we will proceed with the order. Fabric colours may appear slightly different in person compared to photos or swatches shown digitally, due to screen and lighting differences. Any fabric supplied by the customer is used at the customer's own risk regarding durability and colour-fastness.
4. Pickup & Delivery
Where pickup and delivery are arranged, estimated timeframes will be communicated in advance. While we make every reasonable effort to meet agreed timelines, delays may occur due to fabric availability, workload, or circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any significant delay.
5. Payment Terms
An advance payment or deposit may be required to begin work on larger orders, with the balance due upon completion or delivery. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of order. Furniture may be retained until full payment is received.
6. Warranty & Workmanship
We stand behind our workmanship. Any stitching or construction defect reported within 30 days of delivery will be repaired free of charge. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, water damage, or issues arising from fabric supplied by the customer.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take great care with every piece of furniture entrusted to us, we are not liable for pre-existing structural damage, hidden defects in the original frame, or damage arising from circumstances outside our control. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the service provided.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Orders may be cancelled before work begins, subject to forfeiture of any deposit already paid to cover consultation and fabric procurement. Once cutting or stitching has started, orders generally cannot be cancelled, as materials have already been committed to your specific piece.
9. Website & Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and the Al Shahi Furniture Upholstery name and logo, is the property of Al Shahi Furniture Upholstery and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ajman, UAE.
